Q: What is Phi Sigma Pi?

A: Phi Sigma Pi is a gender inclusive National Honor Fraternity founded on a tripod of ideals: Scholarship, Leadership, and FellowshipWe are an active group that offers students the chance to experience the best attributes of three organizations all consolidated effectively into one organization: the reputation and career-building aspects of an honor society, the philanthropic purpose of a service organization, and the strong bonds and life-long friendships of a social group.

Q: What do you do in Phi Sigma Pi?

A: We engage the brightest and best academic students on campus and provide them with the opportunity to enhance their college experience and improve their abilities outside the classroom. We continuously strive to uphold the ideals of our founders in everything we do. Whether it is attending a study session, social event, or holding a leadership position, our Brothers are working towards building those lifelong bonds while helping each other succeed.

Q: Why does Phi Sigma Pi call its members "Brothers"?

A: After being founded in 1916, only males could become brothers and be initiated into Phi Sigma Pi. Then, at the National Convention in Washington, D.C. the National Constitution was amended to admit eligible females into Phi Sigma Pi. Since then, those who are inducted into the Fraternity are known as "brothers", to serve as a reminder to see how much we have grown as an organization.
